Shipping Containers - Info needed

Postby MrOizo » Wed Feb 08, 2006 9:45 pm

Does anyone know how much a container is.

An old non sea worthy one for storage is all i am after.

If you could supply internal dimensions of a 20' and 40' that would be much appreciated also.

Thanks.

Try contacting the local container hire/dehire depots for the shipping lines, I think Specialised Container Services and TSL are some of the names i remember, they do have containers which go beyond the state of use that they would need to get rid of somehow.

Ruakura Motors in Hamilton sells containers, about $2000 for a reasonable 20 foot I think

We've been looking for a couple of 20 footers for a while. Over $2000 is the going rate for a decent one. Plus delivery.
