Why are MR2s ga.y?

When I got in to a "heated" discusion with a female user on another forum, the line " MR2s are g.ay" was rasied. After mercilessly retorting with lines so good her only come back was get a Mitsi...it got me wondering, why do people call MR2s ga.y? the spyder I can under stand, the SW20 na i can under stand, but what is ga.y about a RWD two seater MR car?

I have had this rasied with me a few times, especially my brother when he learned I was getting a MR2...


I have never been able to get a definate answer as to WHY exactly MR2s are ga.y?

Can the people posting "ga.y" give a reason? I would genuinely like to know why you think that way? Did you only vote that way because thats the popular opinion and you dont have the balls to go against it?

go find some videos bud, they arnt "dicked on" by to many cars in the same class....

not to mention none of that pesky 4wd drive train loss....

either way, everyone who has called my car gay, usually owns a front wheel drive, and thinks the mr2 is a fwd!

its just how it works.

I used to be of the same opinion, I used to hate MR2s with a passion... Until I understood the concept/benefits of a mid engined car, and took one for a drive.

I think it's a good thing though.

Be glad that not every other homeboy likes MR2s.... Imagine if they got stolen as much as old RX's for example. Or evos, etc.
Some of my friends with RX's cant even leave their cars anywhere for 5 minutes, without some $&#$% trying to steal it.

BTW, I would say that MR2s are considered gay, because they look funny, some would go as far as to say 'cute'.

It's just because they are a small car I suppose.

Id say red targa n/a MR2s are gay tho i would never say no to a black GT . The GTs have alot of potential tho, just looks at Al's one . I reckon it mostly has to do with personal opinion tho - im sure many a person hates GT4's

I drive a curren (Which is constantly called a girls car) so im in no position to say an mr2 is gay. Personally, i love the little things, i think theyre great. As for my curren, once i get my 3sgte in, ill be the one enjoying the drive around town in my "girls car"

People diss MR2's because they've never driven one or been for a ride in one. I didn't think much of them till I test drove one just over a year ago, one drive and I was hooked and now I own one. Definately not a gay car by any means.
