Wiring loom plugs left over... any ideas? (SW20+3sge)

Postby RomanV » Sat Apr 01, 2006 3:51 pm

(concerning a gen 4 3sge into a gen 1 SW20)

Well, I've got these two plugs left over, with nowhere to go.
The wire colours are red and green on the white plug, and black/yellow and yellow/red on the blue plug.

I am wondering if they are related to the fact that my engine doesnt fire up, or whether they are for extras that I dont have. (I know that the car that this loom/engine came from had ABS/traction control, which I dont)

The wiring comes out of the loom just near the fusebox, and there should be something in the vicinity that they plug into I would imagine.

Are they for a relay or something perhaps?
Anthony was saying that it sounds like I might be missing the master relay, which supposedly bolts to the firewall. Which coincidentally, supposedly goes pretty much where these plugs are.

Does anyone have a pic/description of a master relay, how many wires/plugs goes into it would go into it, etc?

Any help appreciated!

I'm not sure what that is.

EDIT: Aaah, yeah I think I do.

I just found a pic, I see where it goes.

But it appears to be redundant in my case I think, as I dont have any plug ends coming out of that.
