bottom idler bearing 3sge/3sgte 1990-1992

help :? :? ,is there a packing/spacer washer that sits in front of oil pump housing and behind the bottom idler bearing ,my engine reconditioners are stumped ,toyota says there isnt one , when you put the bearing on and tighten the bolt the bearing just slides on the bolt like the bolts to long, what can i do?

either wrong bearing or bolt. There is no washer on either cambelt idlers/teonsioner..
Is the bearing same height as crank shaft sproket when it seated against the water pump?

well there is definatly one washer behind the top ,"i guess youd call them timing belt idler bearings" that bolts onto the head there is no problem there, theres two of these. the top one with washer behind it ,and the bottom one that bolts on to the top right side of the OIL :P pump housing are you sure there is no washer behind the bearing,
