Anyone had any experience with using a SC12 in a suck through setup?

I could imagine the fuel would 'pool' in the s/c at idle, in doing this it could be lean at idle from time to time, lean mixtures would likely make for intake backfires, which combined with the fuel sitting in the s/c.
Thats assuming it'd still be clutched. One would imagine it'd be constantly on, so always turning.
How do the big 6/71 type blowers do it

a lot of mini guys have been using and adapting them as suck through for a while now without issues on their 'a' series's with su carbes. as above, perhaps the coatings etc are not suitable, but they appear to stand up to it.
