which coronas have 10" vented discs?

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Fri Apr 28, 2006 1:28 pm

hey, I have some corona struts at home without any steering arms. I'm going to see what toyota can sort out for me for the steering arms but I will obviously need to know exactly which corona these struts are off.

all I know is they came off a corona which had a bluetop 4age in it, and they have 10" vented disk brakes. (my rough measurement was more like 10.5" but I don't think these exist do they?)

are there heaps of different types of coronas with 4ages which came out with 10" vented disks? if not, can someone give me the chassis codes (and approximate year) for the coronas which did come out with these type of struts and engines.

I can also provide the measurements for the bolt/locator holes on the steering arm too, if someone else has some they can measure to compare?

cheers,
-matt

being jap, wont it be in metric? which would be 270mm, which sounds reasonable... the older coronas had 270mm discs. (by older i mean early 70's, from a quick 2 seconds googling)

RA63 steering arms will let you use the stock KE30 contorl arm and ball joint, and the strut locater spacing is the same as the corona/cressida struts. Standard tie rods are sweet too.
