for E58 you will need new shafts as they are ~5 longer on the splines..

do you mean they have 5 more splines or the splines are 5 somethings (mm, cm)bigger ????

the spline is 5mm longer. sorry I "ate" mm in previous post.

Sergei,

Do you have a pick of the modded mount? The old gearbox is out in my car, new clutch is in, 6 speed shifter and linkage in, but the mount (third one) may need to be forgone. Which may not be a big deal.

PS what outer CV's did you use? Did you have to use different ones or just AE101 type?

I used AE101 CVs/shafts with no problem, BZR comes with Torsen LSD so shafts are of same spline length.

Thanks, I guess the CV shop gave me the wrong ones, anyways, the new box is in now... its awesome having 6 gears to race through! :)
