To all of you who had a wee laugh at the 150hp @ 12psi I dyno'd 2 years ago heres my latest result:

after frontmount and microtec computer re-dyno'd at @ 203hp @ 12 psi
(still loosing boost)
but with the help of the front end of a T04 dyno'd @ 220hp @ 8psi

and now hot off the dyno @ 252hp @ 14psi

with room to improve, still bleeding boost from 14psi down to 11-12psi with the help of a electronic boost controller est. 280hp if ican hold the 14psi

not bad for an instant 100hp extra in one hit!

Not many people actually go the trouble of taking their motor out, and setting it up on a dyno.

Mark says: You need bigger turbo.. No reason that should be falling off. I'd be expecting a fair whack more power at that boost level to be honest.

On the plus side - an over 100% improvement in power is nothing to frown at!

yea well i did! your saying i need bigger than a t04? what i really need is an external wastegate and extractors but once I get a boost controller and Ill give it another run see if I can get that estimated 280 and then im stopping...

and getting a house

So just the bigger comp wheel? I went for a ride in my mates' series 4, with T04E (I'm pretty sure he said it was an 'E'), pretty laggy, but when she hit boost.. wheelspin, even in 4th! Stupidly fast. And stupidly thirsty.

haha fully agree there! but like my dad said, if its using heaps of fuel its gotta be going somewhere! usually our the muffler on fire :D

and the T04 ive got on there at the moment you can fit a light bulb into the intake, i dont think ill need much bigger haha

with the help of a godzilla fuel pump and some 800 cc inj now hot off the dyno at 313hp @ 15psi

now im done! :lol: no more 8O
