The person hearing the case will try to mediate the situation first so make it clear they caused the damage, point out you asked them if they could safely change them without damage first and that curbing can't make a gouge on the face of the rim. You want money from them to pay to have them fixed, don't let them 'agree to have them fixed' otherwise they'll try shaft you and have them fixed by some mate. You want to walk out of there with money awarded to your name .

I wouldn't really recommend going to the tyre shop opposite the Mt Cook etc turnoff in Washdyke (just north of Timaru).
They fitted two different tyre types to my GTS-4 Skyline (only supposed to have one tyre type) along with the third tyre type already on the back of the car and the car has been running bad ever since (a simple tyre change would solve it i suspect, but that will be expensive as i don't want budget/no grip tyres - may be unrelated, but the front driveshaft thing that transmits power to the front wheels has a bit of play in it).
May have new people in there now, but am still kinda annoyed at them.

Well got a bit of an update...
Even though i was very embarrased i went back to Tonys Tire Service who had orgianally put tyres on these rims and explained what happend. They were disgusted at the poor workmanship of Tyres 2 Go. I asked if they could on some letter head of theres, state they had already put tyres on these rims with no problems and that a poor job had been done! And they were sweet about it As long as i go back to Tonys now on YAY So I will be picking that up in the next few days
