AE92 strut bar...

Postby peas » Tue Jun 06, 2006 11:03 am

Im almost at the stage of swapping my GZE gear into a AE91 and keep noticing little things and the latest is the strut brace mounting on the firewall. There seems to be two indents in the firewall where the two bolts would go but as for whats behind it??? Im not above hauling the dash out and welding a couple of nuts onto the firewall, and Im not sure but I may have to remove it to change the looms over anyway!

Dont ask my reasons for doing this, I love the AE92 Levin shape and my GT-Z is rusting and has so many problems with it I just relegated it to the srcap heap. I will be taking all the suspension/brakes etc over though.

ive already asked this, so you would have found if you searched.

but if you take the grill off(between bonnet and screen)

you can see what your doing.

just drill a hole thru and put bolts thru and nuts on the other side.

only problem with this is if you want to take it off, you need to remove the grill.
