Post by alastabesta »

just bought a 2001 caldina gt-t, at the moment its unmodified apart from a dynatron alarm with gsm cellphone module, engine start button, blitz dc3 turbo timer and pivot shift light

was aiming for the aerial model (loving the glass roof) but decided to go with factory HID option instead lol

yep auto.
mum needs to drive a car and she doesn't want to buy another car so the deal was she practices her driving on this car and then she goes off and get another one when she feels more confident (alas for my bumpers and paints)

nice choice in the facelift version. i looked for a facelift gt but couldnt justify the extra coin for it in the end. they look so much better than the earlier ones tho :D

and theres nothing wrong with autos , the auto box suits what the car was designed for , which is covering long distances quickly in comfort

With the popular purchase of GTT's recently we should think about Caldina meet attempt #2 - anyone keen?

so what are the mods you guys had done to the gtts or what mods i should start with?

I had asked mr. revhead regarding how many litres of oil I would need for engine / brake system / transmission / diff and plan to change all of them for a start, but I guess that's not really a "mod" as such, more like a general service lol

what sorta oil do you guys use? I have around 20L of castrol protec lying around so I guess I'll use them up first before I change it to another brand...

Looks wicked!
Love these cars...

I always tell my missus when I get sensible and want a car that CAN fit people easily. A GT-T caldina is it. ( She can have the kids/dog etc..)
They are so pretty! especially in white :D
