ae82 fxgt front wheels rubbing

well my ae82 fxgt is standard wheel size, standard suspension apart from super low jamex springs and since iv put them in the wheels have started to rub real bad. It was owned by an old lady before me so i doubt anythin has been tampered with. Shuold i be takin off the plastic inner guard things to stop this or what? cheers ppl

either ways you will need to roll your guards

yea have been told the guards may need rolling. that expensive? its just the front, the back didnt drop as much when i put the springs in. looking at gettin the back a bit lower at some point too but thats a differnt story

i paid $40 for all 4 on my old ae82, it makes all the differnce

yea it has been a little while over a month and they have sagged a bit, just want to even it up. any idea what the cheapest way to do this would be? dont want to cut them tho

find the 3 largest pogzillas you can and take em for laps.

id still wait a bit longer. if its still too high in a month or so take em out and get them compressed.

the moral is jamex give you uneven ride height.

its easy just shove a baseball bat up your gaurd, and get a assitent to push the car backwards and frowards.

you need to have the bat on a angle to get the guard to roll however

Are you sure they dont sit even when you have a driver in the car?

Get someone to sit in the drivers seat then have another look.

Are the springs sitting in the strut properly?

dylan there jamex, theyll probley sit more unevenwhen the drivers in the car. :roll:

put some desend shocks in it, im running new ae101 shocks with low kings and 17 " wheels , it has stiffent the front up heaps and the only place ive had it rub is on the second bridge on the desert rd , dont think ive had a car that hasnt rubbed there

wen u say standard wheel size , wot do u mean and wot size and style and wot offset do u have ? the offset is probably wrong 8)
