Snow was great, tried going up mount cargill butg way to many idiots up there, including one nissan 4wd that slid down the really step bit where the gravel starts & blocked the road, damn idiots who dont know how to drive on snow.

I love it when u have a road to yourself, been up many skifeild roads covered in snow that supposidly u needed chains for, its all just about car control & keeping an even speed & no sudden acceleration or braking. I hate getting out to put chains on, cause your fingers are always frozen by the end of it, oh & im lazy too.

I love the snow farm road & the cardrona access roads in snow, they're fairly wide & not too dangerous to go up in decent snow, coming down's another story, gravity goes against you there in a fwd car
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983

2.45am this morning. woken by the brightness outside, streetlights flickering on and off, and the sound of trees snapping.

I had heard that some snow fell somewhere... I think I must have been transferred to an alternate city with replicas of everyone/thing... the weather was fine when I went to work(730 ish), and not too cold either.

because, then you'd be up half the night making sure your prized trees are clear of snow , and constantly checking when the last length of spouting (still attached to house) is going to succumb to the weight of the snow backed up to it , and take the powelines out.

in all, it has not been a fun last 9 hours awake

Got out of bed at 7am,

saw the snow over 1/2 way up the 17" wheels on the carib and thought,

"that's not gunna happen"

So i went back to bed.

Looks like it's going to be the same way tomorrow as it still has not melted.

Matt.
