Anyone know anything about these ecus, Im helping with a Ex. Toyota Team Europe group N rally car that was last run at Cyprus. The car is now here in NZ and will be being used in the Silver Fern Rally in the south island in a month or so.
The problem i have is that it has a trd ecu with what appears to be a RS232 tuning port and im hoping we can geet the cable and software to be able to retune the ecu, as being for cyprus it is setup very rich to allow for the altitude therefore I want to retune it for normal conditions.
If anyone knows anything that may help plz get back to me.

Being Group N it will be fairly mild tune. Tried a stock ECU?

the tune could be very different..........
more boost etc.....
send me an email and ill contact TRD and see. be sure to include any numbers on the ecu, and the model and frames of the car.
however i suspect as i think gary does as well that itll be TTE who you want to talk to. again i can contact them. however im not sure how much of the old rally stuff is still around as the competition arm of TTE is now toyota F1......
then theres the issue that they would have suplied techs to the team and wil retain all info and programmes.
we can but try.
