WTF weid clicking noise coming from front left cv

i noticed coupel days ago the cvs were starting to click around corners
but on the way home from the drags it startd to click wen goin in a staright line and wen under throttle, so pulled over jacked it up pulled the wheel off and had a look the only thing that moved was the shaft, are they supposed to move. decided to drive home with least amount of go pedal used then bout 10min into drivin it stopped, there was the occasional click WTF any help greatly appricated

when they start clicking in a straight line they REALY need to b changed, thats what i found with mine anyway. if you were racing at the drags it would have made it worse

hey, yeah better change them now, or you will have no wheel drive
that happened to me. what a pain.
takes about 30mins to swap over, and warwick can do a good price.

i think its about $70-$80 from memory for the part.
replace the side that you think the noise is coming from, i bought 2 but could return the second one as the noise was coming from only one side.

its just the outer cv joint you need, the inner cv hardly ever fails.

you will want to crack the nut about 32mm i think before you remove the wheel, the rest is fairly straight forward if you are mechanically inclined.

took it to my mechanic mate drove round in cirlces etc but made no noise he had a look and sed everythign seemed fine and that it must of been a stone or something in there. cheers for the help tho
