Heya Chells, just a few Q's about your entry form...

You ask if the entrants car is a 'race car'? You mean professional track car owners circle YES ? Road legal street cars circle NO?

Also, what do you class as 'significantly' modified engines? I calss Mathanol injected superchargers with Nos, as significantly modified, do you?

I have a few mods in my WRX, is this going to prevent me from entering?

Cheers!

none of it wil prevent from you from entering. i think its just so they have an idea of what cars are going to be there and what sort of level they are at.

Ok, sure :)

I mean, do you consider your car to be a 'race car', if you do I'll put you in with other race cars. When people consider themselves to have a 'race car' they tend to have a little more disregard for the fact that they may have to drive it home thus driving harder. This doesn’t mean it has a roll cage but it does mean that a cars purpose is to be raced. For example: I have an RS Mirage which is totally stripped out, race seat only, no cage, full race set up suspension, with many changes and lightened, it has a certification but it is still road legal. That is my race car. Some may have a fully caged, non road legal race car that is trailed everywhere, but are both ‘race cars’.

Significantly modified: Well this is regarding things like, after market cams, head work, throttle body changes etc... If you believe you car is putting out more 15-20% more than standard then I would consider this a significant change. This isn't talking about a pod filter and an exhaust as these appear to be common place these days.

I need to know that you have a car that is excessively modified so I can fairly group people. For example: I have a V8 Commodore coming which has been moded and is running some like 550 – 600 hp, I need to know this so I don’t assume it is could run with the quick 1600’s because in their natural state an early 90’s commodore was gutless.

I hope this make sense. :)

emm.. I know you say "no drifting".... is this due to the possible cause of anoying to others driver?
I'm really keen to bring my AE86 out there... I promise not to get stuck or spun out infront of others or cause annoy to others. :P I don't normaly go off the track.... as I like to stay on the track all the time :D

If still no go, I might just have to come and watch...if that's ok

aka "NO SPIN" :P

yeh, I try before... I think it is slower and less interesting.. also scary that car going so fast in straight and grip around the corners  ... hate understeer..
I can go fast with racing drift, not show drift which is slow(like the dirty Nissans boys)..
So yeah I'll do racing drift on that day if I'm allowed to enter.. and you can check my time.. I'm sure I'll bet your wagon  (I have got the best track time for drifters and about 3rd overall with grip racers  @ a MCC sprint event in my TE71 which is slower car than AE86)

I kinna need to test my car before the next D1NZ (R4)comp which is on 26/8 @ Manfeild. I have got new things in car and wanted to setup more..

Is the Toyota Trueno Turbo mine? Sounds dumb asking but yeah... I'm guessing the ae101 turbo is Jeremy's.
