I am pretty sure you are talking about one that I saw last night having some trouble trying to back into a driveway down glandovey (jst round the road from kilmarnock). Its got white writing on the back with the number RS13? Goes with your discription of being 17" wheels, white, quite tidy.

I am around that area a bit, Ill keep my eye out for it

always man.

Just gotta remember, its just a car, and theres always a better deal out there, always.

Have patience, and have cash, bargaining power is great, but it takes time, often make take months for you to get the car you want at the price you want.

I waited about 3 months for reo to drop the price on the corona by 500 bucks, then i found out he got it for free. ah well, just like I said, there is always a better deal!

Yea, car buying can sometimes be a long and arduous process, but its funny what a big wad of cash held in front of the sellers nose can do... :P

Yeh, I got so sick of waiting, and grief from my partner, that I just went out and got the car.

im picking up an AE92 on sunday to replace the AW. 1500 for a completely standard 1990 trueno, with i think bout 215xxxish kms on the clock, looks in good condition, although the paint is a bit faded/rough on the roof apparently. out of interest, did i get a good price?

My mate payed 1400 for an 87 ae92 with less than 180 on the clock, it had a lil rust starting to come though, easy stuff to manage like outer door skin etc. steelies, crappy tires and the likes. So depending on condition I reckon you got a good price, small port 4age aswell

Yeah, my paint has faded on the roof too, must be an ae92 thing. I opened my boot yesterday morning to find a 2-inch deep lake in my wheel well!

Took my rear lights out, and siliconed around them, hopefully that'll stop it. Oddly enough, my car has no rust whatsoever, not even in the wheel well.. hmm. Wasn't there something about how Toyota switched the process in which they fabricated the metal up in 1988, to fix the rusting issues?

alot of the rust in 80s toyota cars are due to toyota using spot welds in alot of places.
the water sits between the welds and starts to eat away at the car
