Was thinking that my rolly would look good army style, matt paint green olive with stars and shit, black rims and bumpers.
After a friend painted his s15 matt black with spray cans.
Was just wondering wether there's a slightly better way to do this job then spraycans but also keeping in mind the price factor.
any ideas would be mint, i have to wonder wether a primer could be used or?

also wonder about the toughness that military paints have etc?
as if my paint was just spray matt it may soak up water be hard to clean.

You can go to your local paint place and get them to make matt/saturn/gloss in whatever colour you want in a pot to spray on with a proper spray setup rather than cans if you want a better finish.
they wont be the same brand as what ever 'military paints' are, but prepped correctly (i.e. sanded, primed etc) and sprayed on correctly should be strong (again depending on the type of paint type you choose)
Preparation is just as important on a matt finish than a gloss finish, so spend the time and do it correctly.
Not really harder to clean either...just isnt all glossy when you finish.

With my experience with russian military paint (well actually I had good experience with military grade electronic components, which funny enough where painted in military green colour) it is much more durable than more common car paint, it is more closer to soft rubbery plastic (not very shiny), while normal car paint would be hard but fragile...
