Best place to get 4WS light fixed? (09)

Some advice please on where to get my 4WS light problem diagnosed and fixed? By best I really mean cheapest, as my Celica GTR is '89 and isn't really worth much any more but engine is mint so would like to keep it running for as long as possible.

In the past I have taken it to Giltrap Toyota, both times the rear motor had crapped out and cost a fair bit to get fixed. Any advice would be great...

um, might help if u have a location? my boss done a few now, there not cheap tho, as half the backseats have to come out to get a the brains

Yep, saw that thread

BJ knows a ton about ST18x's ... there are a lot of people here who should be able to help out too

Have you checked out the speed sensor in the hub again?

Do I just take the FL off and see if it's still in one piece?

It does sound like the same (or very similar fault) to the first time it happened, so I'd say that would be a good place to start. Anything thats going to save you money is a good thing, right?

I would take a look at that first, to see if you can spot anything obvious, then take it from there.
