Ok well maybe not the hoff, but just out driving and what did i pass? A perfect replica of "Kit", scrolling red light, LHD n all... Is this new? Or do i just not get out enough??

There was a guy building a replica K.I.T.T

Would be keen as to see pics if anyone has any.

It was used about 18 years ago in the NZ Tour... unfortunately I was a rather inquisitive/troublesome 8 year old, and asked why it had a radio underneath... when they wouldn't tell me, I pulled the plug on it.

Accualy my mums VW Golf is faster than kitt. He wasnt even doing 50k down the 60k part of teh 1 way system.....

Maybe he was trying to be super stealth??

He have have had the windows blacked out, because as you may or may not know, K.I.T.T can black out the windows at any time.

The duke boys had their own downsides... Daisy was their cousin... how annoying is that...

I mean it wouldn't be illegal, but it would certainly be a bit odd.

It would appear that KITT sits about 3 blocks from my house out here in mosgiel. My wife talked to the owner the other day when she was on a walk. Apparently it is a work in progress and cost him about $10k to do the front of it and the steering wheel is next (it is just a normal one at the moment, not a airplane type one) and then comes the computer

Yeah a guy in CHCH has a replica that he races at the drags every meet. Its rather slow with the 305? V8 with all the emissions crap on it.
