3L Diesel power up options?

Postby UTERUS » Mon Aug 28, 2006 12:31 pm

My brother has a 3l 2.8 Diesel in his 97 Hiace Van. He wants to know of any power upgrades avalible, with keeping with the diesel engine. Turbo? Maybe the turbo off a 3 liter hiace?

He just wants a bit more grunt for towing.

Cheers

Would the turbo manifold off the 2L-T work on the 3L head?

I think you will be better off with fuel pump off a turbo diesel (if you are going to go turbo the 3L route), early KZ I think have mechanical pumps, which might fit (but I don't know - never done something like that)
