It really depends, if its damaged the chassie rails its probly not worth it. Not the sort of thing you can tell with all the pannles on. Take em off and see what its like.

Pull the good bits off and dump the rest, not like Skylines are that expensive.

And lol at blaming part of the crash on the type of car. Driver should know what sort of car they are in and drive to the conditions (when they change, reduce your speed). In saying that, a Skyline on gravel would be asking for trouble if he was feeling like playing

Nah, it was my brothers GTS-25 (auto). My 4 is still WoF'less and in a couple of weeks won't be registered anymore either.

Me and my other brother have never really been confident of his driving, if i was in the same situation in the same car i probably would have crashed too because even though i've been driving for about six years or so (had my full licence for nearly three years i think) i barely know any car control techniques.

The whole driver licencing system is screwed up, theory tests only get you so far - there should be practical car control tests.

But yeah. Whatever happens this car is likely going to stay with us, i'll probably end up buying and fixing damaged Skylines for a hobby one day, no joke. :lol:

If there were practical car control tests as part of the licencing system then it would cost a lot more and everyone would bitch about the price. not to mention the fact that there are ways to go and get instruction on such things but no one seems to take up the option of doing that...

, but yet Prodrive struggles to find willing students to learn car control skills. i believe it should be a compulsory element in licencing..............and had i done one, i wouldn't have to snigger everytime i go past a certain marker post :lol:

its just a shitty auto R32.......

there are millions out there..
the cost of fixing that.... not worth it.. just sell the RB25 and some interior pieces and be done with it !

Yup just get rid of it :wink: not worth fixing. plenty up for sale, non turbo autos are cheap.

oh btw, you should get your brother to sell the motor to me :wink:

Lol, I used to take my 5spd R32 out to the Waimak, still one of the most controllable cars I've ever taken out there, although being automatic, having it shift up mid corner would be enough to throw a novice out. They're big bitches, but very easy to control once sliding, if you know what you're doing!

I'd say rip the motor/interior/dash/driveline/hubs/wheels off it, find another R32 or S13 or something and throw it all in that. Non-turbo R32s are puss, I wouldn't bother fixing it, total waste of time and effort! Maybe if it were 5spd.. but it isn't.
