I just saw the news on Sky News..
Peter Brock died in a racing accident today 8O 8O

I guess it'll be on the main news tonight, or around the web..

I cant believe it :(:(

Yeah, I just heard it on the radio. First Steve Irwin, now Peter Brock.. not a good week for Australia! :(

Racing legend Brock killed in car crash
Australian motor-sport legend Peter Brock is dead after his car hit a tree east of Perth today.

Brock was competing on the first day of the Targa West Rally when his vehicle hit a tree near the small community of Gidgegannup.

His co-driver has been taken to hospital but his condition is not known.

Brock was 61 years old. No other cars are believed to have been involved.

What'd he crash in? Looked vaguely Porsche-ish.

Poor bastard, but those are the risks you take in motorsport.

RIP probably one of the best known Motorsport icons ever.

Gutted man, condolences to all Brocky's family, friends, and of course fans.

It's called a Daytona Coupe, basically a Shelby Cobra-Daytona replica. Plastic body, Commodore engine, home made chassis.
