leasson on cam gear plz ?

can anyone tell me wat does cam gear do where is it and how to pick a set ?

after a set for my st205

In short, they fine tune your cams, can help lumpy idles and move the power around a tiny bit.

If you dont have aftermarket cams, not really any point.

Stickers are cheaper

Some gains can be made just with standard cams, i had a dyno plot of a rb26, with a few degrees of cam change it made a extra 8kw or so...

cant find it now however :(

Hmm, 8kw is quite small,

Cam timing adjustment will only giive power increases at a particular rpm

NZ new AE82 GT sedan I TRD I was stolen in january still nothing recovered ! I TRD I is now a notchback ae85 with full ae86 running gear , high comp pistons , hks cams , etc

No offence intended at all, but what made you decide you were after a set if you didnt know what it did etc?

going to rebuild my gt4 soon, just trying to understand more abt the parts and wat it does.

an example of cam tuning using adjustable cam degree wheels on a R32 GTR with std size turboes at 15 PSI. Interestly this result was obtained solely by adj the degree wheels with no ECU tuning at all.
