Nats 2007

Postby Adydas » Tue Sep 26, 2006 4:07 pm

Right guys i put my hand up to organize 2007 Nats stand for toyspeed but id like a) some help from the toyspeed populace and b) to get started early.

So i have 2 ideas and i want your help.

Option 1)

Toyspeed stand consists of the following TYPES of car, but must meet a certain degree of modication be it engine transplants or heavy engine work etc After market ecu, turbos etc.

The reason for the above requirment is to match the rest of the stands at the nats, we dont want to be seen showing off stock cars do we?

Somthing along the lines of

FWD TURBO
FWD NA
4WD
RWD Turbo
RWD NA

Option 2)

Along simlar lines to the above but instead of FWD, RWD etc we do it as follows.

Street ( Luxary )
Drag
Rally
Track

At this stage NO cars are to be considerd its mearly a case first of setting up the mould for whats needed, but this does mean if you would like to be considerd etc to be preapred for another thread where i will be asking for submissions on cars ( once we know what the "Class's" Avalible are.

I prefer the second.......As long as the Rally entry is K powered (or at least came out of the factory with one) :)

Why not do a timeline type theme?

Range from oldschool up to newschool.... haven't seen anything done like that before, and hell, there's the range of Toyota's to do such a thing.

I agree with richard

But it would be unfair to have a 4k Starlet vs a transplated 4age Starlet ?? you get my drift

SO maybe classes within classes ???

Also run an Open class for those non rally, track, Drag car but those street driven speedsters :P

This would be a cool theme...

Something like 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000 should work and look good. would be best to have one model from each generation but that would be quite biased.

Maybe have another voting on which model from which generation..

hmmmmm

i have a ST165 ;) might not be show material tho :o

Do remeber im aiming to provide some highly modified cars that migfht be a bit hard to carry as a theme with the 20's for the Era choice, but the Race, Rally one etc wont matter you could have a 70s rally and a 20s drager.
