Levels trackday (30th Sept) pics! 56k? No way. ;)

I thought i took heaps more but didn't, so there are still a few cars not pictured.

Sorry for some pics being fuzzy, i was trying to get them so that the car was in focus but the background wasn't (so it would look like they were going fast) but didn't have a tripod or anything so was just following them while looking through the viewy bit of the camera. Hmmm. Anywho;

Drag racing

Image
This kept having engine (overheating) problems and i don't think it participated in anything other than the drag racing.

Image
Probably would have been quicker than my GTS-4 (looked that way anyway) in all events held on the day.

Image
This thing is crazy, loses traction at the top of second and maybe third gears. :D

Image
The Lada that was bought for $50 and is still going strong, although was getting worse throughout the day.

Image
Yummy.

Was happy to see a GTO racing, they have a great exhaust note. 8)

Image

Image
When i first saw this Sierra i thought it would be slow, but it seemed to be one of the more powerful cars there, loved getting sideways or smoking it up anyway.

Image
Was running all day as far as i know unlike at the last event. :)

Image

Image
As you can see, the Lada started having troubles.

Had to take these pics, i'm a Skylineoholic. ;)

Full circuit

What i refer to as the ToySpeed car.

Image
Supercharged i believe, very quick anyway.

My brother liked this (kinda likes Silvias).

Image
Trans-Am/Firebird, seemed pretty stock as other cars sometimes caught up to it.

Image
Quick GSR/EVO

Image

Image

Image
One of the reasons most of these pics are dark (the other is that the camera suc... isn't the best). Cloud cover only just let the sun in about two or three pm or so?

Image

Image
And two random photos from the beach near Temuka.

Image
Macro FTW!

All pics available in 1024 by 768 resolution if you're keen.

All these and the pics from the last event are here (small size).

the red/yellow car is, i believe, a car that Chelles had at one point. the currnet driver is Fast Eddie, one of our young novice drivers who had never even driven a car until entering a hillclimb earlier this year.

i wondered that when i saw it down there, but unless my memory is wrong (quite likely) i thought it was a V8 she owned?

See, i always thought it was fangsport driving that car but was told otherwise by the man himself. :D He's a pretty quick driver anyway so i can see where the nickname comes from. :)

Where does that coment came from? lol,

You make my car sound unreliable,
Occasionaly it has a problem, but would say more than a 90% finish rate.
