TA22 ... Any takers?...

Here's a lovely wee Celica for you. Not something you see everyday.

1973 TA22 21,000km only.

That's a pretty original old girl. Can buy tomorrow. Any one keen?

If it checks out as genuine and is about NZ$10,000 delivered to my door I'm keen.

I have room for a second one in my garage.

This one gets lonely and needs a friend.

I don't honestly expect anyone here to want to pay the money that will be necessary to buy this car and land it in NZ.

I'm guessing but I'd think upwards of 15K.

She's a beauty tho' isn't she?

Japanese auction grade is 4 so I don't think there's any doubt about it's genuineness (?).

Have asked the Jap to send more info. Will talk to anyone that's keen.

Have heard from Japan. As expected, at the auction start price, the cost to land this car in NZ would be about $11,000.

I would expect it to go for significantly more than the start price.
Any vehicle of this age that is still in the registration system in Japan is a very rare, and therefore expensive, item.

Sorry I dont. If I did I would be holding on to them anyway.

I'm not sure how much longer the ones I have are going to last given the treatment they sometimes get in town. If there is something hanging off your car some people just seem to want to try to remove it.

Bastards. :x

No worries, I want some bullet style fenders to throw on the KP, but so far I'm drawing several blanks.
