Putting a 2J in an Altezza would cost you nowhere near 20K if you know what you're doing...
And who in their right mind would pay 10K for a 2J?
TTEETT wrote:Ok, well you point out where to find one.
And yes it would cost in the vicinity of 20 grand Mr. Know it all, I have a folder full of info (quotes, supply invoices, ect) to prove it.. I know what I am doing, Im not going to post up Bullshat now am I.

The amount of work needed do the lot and get it certified blew me away too!My figures are very accurate as I have investigated the possibility of this conversion for some time. And in the end decided it was too costly ($18,750) to justify.
That figure is based having the job done properly by professionals, meaning everything works (aircon, cruse control, dash lights, Speedo bla bla) and the finish performed to a factory standard, not im my garage, the car was not a “old school wagon “ it was a 2001 Lexus.
Im not a steel fabricator, mechanic, or an auto electrician, as im sure some of you may very well be.
