Putting a 2J in an Altezza would cost you nowhere near 20K if you know what you're doing...
And who in their right mind would pay 10K for a 2J?
TTEETT wrote:Ok, well you point out where to find one.
And yes it would cost in the vicinity of 20 grand Mr. Know it all, I have a folder full of info (quotes, supply invoices, ect) to prove it.. I know what I am doing, Im not going to post up Bullshat now am I.

The amount of work needed do the lot and get it certified blew me away too! My figures are very accurate as I have investigated the possibility of this conversion for some time. And in the end decided it was too costly ($18,750) to justify.
That figure is based having the job done properly by professionals, meaning everything works (aircon, cruse control, dash lights, Speedo bla bla) and the finish performed to a factory standard, not im my garage, the car was not a “old school wagon “ it was a 2001 Lexus.
Im not a steel fabricator, mechanic, or an auto electrician, as im sure some of you may very well be.
