After my car was red flagged last week at Ruapuna and i spent the the day as passenger with Pete in his AE85/86 i realised i was in need of more power and less weight.

So heres my resolution;

Dx Corolla
Nissan Z18et engine
Link V5 ECU with base Z18 program
Wayne Murdoch cylinder head - ported plus Kelford Cam
CA18det injectors
CA18det throttle body
Custom exhaust manifold
Big dump pipe off back of turbo, 2.5 inch side exit exhaust
winged sump
lightened flywheel
new clutch
Big intercooler
GTR Blow off valve
External wastegate
Adjustable boost
Toyota Camry radiator
Caged - homologated
1 Jamex Race Seat
New Silvester Belts
Momo steering wheel
Boost, Oil Pressure, Tacho, Water temp gauges
Battery Box inside car
Light weight doors
Plastic windows (5mm)
Jazz Fuel Cell
2 fuel pumps plus surge tank
rose jointed front suspension arms
new front struts Munroe Shortened to hold springs
adjustable Koni rear shocks
coilover suspension - gravel or circuit springs
Wilwood dynalight calipers with rally and circuit pads
braided front brake lines
Nissan bluebird master cylinder
Custom caliper brackets
Nissan Maxima front discs
6 15 inch rims (2 bluebird and 4 RWD Celica)
4 Kumho Victa racer tyres
Nissan Skyline rear discs and mitsi rear calipers
Sigma Turbo diff locked for drift days :)
Hilux LSD diff fully rebuilt and modified
Fresh white paint inside
Fresh red paint on exterior
Front spoiler

Good stuff!

Buying a well setup car is always a good option, rwd toyota is the best part :)

You going to have this down at Levels on 2nd Dec?

Yea for sure, should certainally be ready for that. I just gotta sort out some bigger injectors and get it tuned then its all ready.

hey it's a ae86, Hot looking car man looks like I've got some competition i think i I'll be spending the rest of the weekend in the shed looking for some more speed

1983 Trueno Ae86 ( project), 92 HSV Clubbie. 2000 Fielder wagon
Many previously owned projects: 94 Hilux 4WD, 92 VP SS commodore, AE85 notchback, Ae85 rolling shell, Ke35 sr coupe, EP82 turb starlet

Yea we'r wrapped with it, But it'l take a bit of track time to get used to, its completely the opposite car to my skyline

Here 'tis with the bumper and bonnet on

Hmmm maybe that's not a bad idea, after all you are doing really well n/a. Give Pete something to compete with, i believe some improvements are being made to his '86..................................................... :wink:
