Postby matt dunn » Sat Oct 21, 2006 12:06 am

For those who are keen on spectating,
there is a Race Day at Levels on Sunday 29th October.

Classes racing are
Sports Saloons, Mini 7/Mazda RX7, South Island Formula Ford, Super 6 Saloons and OSCA/Club Cars.

There is also a 1Hour endurance race that will feature a wide range of
modified and hybrid race cars.

Practise is Sat afternoon,

But all races are Sunday starting just at 9am.

There is a gate charge but not too sure what.

Matt, you forgot to add:
Saturday 28th is SC Rally based in the Mckenzie area and many of these cars will be on track on Sunday for your viewing pleasure.

Matt, you're a barstuard!
I've wanted to come down and play at Levels for some time. However several things are preventing me from doing so.

1. Went to shift the Lancer yesterday... clutch pedal hit the floor... (I know its a minor, biut I'm looking for all the excuses I can get)

2. I still havent fixed the front bumper from when I "kissed" a fence in my last rally.

3. I'll be hungover. 27th is my last day lecturing... and yes I am that old that it takes me days to recover.

4. My transporter doesnt fit the Rally car, and I still havent found an enclosed trailer to suit (read very cheap)

5. I'm scared... I realized how much power you have.... I'll have to make the Lancer wider than that very wide Scooby you tend to tailgate. 8O
The answer is Helmholtz!

STOP PRESS: rumour has it that Andrew Hawkswood is going to lay to rest the claim that a 4wd car can't be drifted suceesfully and flambouyantly at Levels on Sunday.

sorry to take the gloss of the sheep racing, but rally drivers + tarseal = something D1NZ can only try to copy
