True.

Ive seen the mega 3uz set up tho, what i described, with a mirrored conversion on the 3s beams head, fuken amazing what you can do with the right tools, the entry and exit angles of air make a huge difference (fe head - ge)

im sure, the 1uzfes are very choked standard and im sure if there was a 1uzge it would be a much better motor.

WTF?!

since when yould you fit 3SGE heads on a *UZ?

IIRC they had a larger spacing between each bore on the *UZ than 3S?

So it was impossible to get the heads to fit.

Also, going from left to right you'd have exhaust intake exhaust intake, rather than exhaust intake intake exhaust, if you know what I mean. :?

PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN! :D

Its been done, and they actually completely re engineered one head, as i have said above. Its done by a companie in auckland, they have only done one seemingly, and i doubt there will be any pics anywhere

Well it sounds awesome if it is true!

Would love to see pics or more info if anyone has any.

BTW, I'm definitely staying 3SGE now....

I just bought an Altezza 6 speed gearbox for the Carina/3SGE. 8)

Obviously with 3S bellhousing/clutch fork etc.

less pissing around than a supra box with 2S bellhousing!

Not the place with the F40 replica?

that would have to be one of the fastest UZ based engines around wouldn't it?

here's a quick bit I found about it.

I love those honda city turbos.

Yeah, I think I'll hang on to my MR2 for the moment.

I'm considering daily driving the Carina when it's done, and rollcaging the MR2.

Dunno yet, just keeping my options open for now. :)
