Yeah your engine is under a huge amount of load on the dyno, slipping clutch would definitely cause some issues.

And I see that my westy hack still makes more than your westy hack. :P

Till you get a proper ECU at least

Yea it was a good day.

I found out that Kevin brought his MKIV round after I left but I'm not 100% sure whether he had a run with it or not.

I have a few good pictures of the day I'll throw up online later tonight for you all to view. 8)

Matt from what I remember that other MKII scored around 85/87rwkw.
It looked really really bad though. :?
Can't believe anyone would do that to a Supra although I still don't like the MKII's very much. :P

John didn't Kevin score allot higher last time?
He got down 398rwkw last time he was on the Dyno did he not?

it was a good day indeed with a good turn out (but not enough nissan though :D)

bunch of friendly people and again gavin was at his best customer service :)

thanks for the guy who took some excellent pictures on the day (and remember to blank all the number plates), keep up the good work mate

good day good people good place but unfortunately i can't say the same thing about my skyline. i was there purely to check if the previous missfiring problem has been fixed or not with the new coil set-up (and if it made a bit more power then it's a bonus) and turned out the problem still there so now im scratching my head, dunno what to do next .... any ideas guys ???

ezy10s did ~160kw in his 7agte around 1bar.

A few 200kw+ 1jz and 7m motors

quite a few supras turned up

not many nissans, although one which turned up made over 300wkw.

On the torque performance dyno I made 110kw at 90kphr (5500RPM). On the hi velocity dyno at the same wheel speed of 90kphr it was only 65wkw :?

Suspect a slipping clutch from the trashing I gave it a puke on friday. It was slipping on the track but only after a few laps, I thought it would be fine on the dyno.

Good day overall :D

Cant really compare between different dynos anyway, theres no real standard.
Torque can easily change figures by changing the ramp rate, or the correction factor or even the software version of the dyno.
I have a friend who dynoed his evo and managed 280kw at the wheels when they tuned it at 18 psi, speedfactor retuned it for 24psi and he brought it back to torque, they said it only made 288kw, but he said it felt a shitload quicker than 8 extra kw. Chucked it on another dyno but tuned for 30psi on 98 and hes making well over 360kw at the wheels.

ezy10's took the same car on hi velocity dyno and TP dyno and found 17% difference  TP reading higher of course.

Yeah, he could go to torque tomorrow and find that the figures are the same.

Torque usually reads higher, only other 4wd dyno i know of is the hub dyno st-high tec has. Good to see the shape of your torque curves and your af ratios though.

Sounded like a fun day - Rudy your GTR was down on power?? Should have been well over 350kws in RWD mode?

ST HiTec hub dyno is pretty hard on power figures, an R33 GTR with just an exhaust only gets 189kws at all 4 wheels.

S15 Silvia's get around 160kws at the rear wheels.

Like some people say you cant compare your dyno figure with another car unless its measured on the same dyno. But generally yes the TP dyno reads over 10% higher than any other which is a shame as its the most commonly used.

Nice. I am actually really interested to know what exactly you have done to your 1J?

Also how many K's was on it when you put it in?
Good numbers there for the JZs though. 8)
