Did it occurr to anyone that this is a grossly unscientific discussion? :P

Whether you get pulled over or not is usually a byproduct of your driving habits - where and hwo you drive - and nothing to do with whether your car is a target or not.

I drive a factory ST195 Caldina, pulled over exactly _no_ times. Ever.

(I got pulled up once in my ST185 for speeding, which the cop couldnt prove and then let me off with a warning - but I wont deny that its very likely that my speed at the time was sufficient to draw attention to myself, legal or not.)

it depends. id say 70% of the time people are pulled over becoz of how they were driving. most of the time police officers cant be assed with traffic stops anyway.
im fairly convinced that sometimes they just get bored of cruising round, and pull over cars that they consider have a higher chance of something being iffy on.
