I love you Luke.

Wednesday night I teach so it's the only night I can make it.

Maybe when a decision is made about representative/s we can have a vote.

We'll just have to see how things go Logan, i'm busy enough too as it is so let's see who the vote goes to.

I wouldn't mind doing the organising side of things or at least help.

We can put it to a vote, no probs at all. Just giving it a few days to see who's nominated, whos offered etc.

Idealy there will be 2 people who work together.

So - Just to clarify - JT won't be back?

Luke has belonged to TS for some time so I vote him.

As long as whoever is appointed has the time to commit to organising meets & events etc.

CHCH seems to be rather lazy when compared to other regions. So someone with a lot of motivation is required :!:

Anyone else up for the task?????

Luke - Do you have an arse fetish??? 8O

I belive Luke would be good at it also.

The person doesnt have to do a lot in the way of organising, its just a bit in the way of motivation people etc. Keeping an eye on the Chch forum and delete/move any 'dangerous' posts etc.

Sure, once a month suggest a meet, ask for suggestions as to where maybe? orjust state a time and place.

IF that person wishs todo the banners, they can, if not, someone else can take up that roll. (I'll wait untill someone is in the roll before I hand out the details)

But most of all, yes, the person does have to be motivated to go to the vast majority of meets, either weekly if they take place, and monthly ones.

As I said, if you think you'd like to take 'charge' let me know.

Otherwise we will force Luke into the job, lol!! :-D

All going to plan I will be down in Dunedin for 3 years from next February so it would probably be good to have a 'local' rep to organise things.

However, there have been several attempts to get things up and going again this year, but people have never showed up. There was a cruise organised to Hanmer and no-one showed, this was after a poll in which people voted for where they wanted to go. It's up to you guys to make things work. I have lost interest in organising stuff for others and have tended to focus on getting my car back on the road and other stuff so I am partially to blame.

One good thing I have noticed this year is the tendancy for topics and interest in be about racing, namely on the track. With some cars in the build and track days coming up hopefully this will show in numbers attending. Perhaps this has come at a cost of thursday meets and organised social activities, not too much of a loss if you ask me.

I totally agree there. No one can expect ANYONE to organise things if people arent willing to make the effort to show up!!

Show your support, on here AND at events, and someone will be interested in giving it a real go again.

When I did it, there was a good following, so it made it worth while.

Good call! I must agree it is great to see interest in motorsport and lots of threads about it. If people want a place to meet I would suggest if your not competing should come out and watch some sprints, its on once a month...

In all seriousness, sounds like Luke will be a good event planner and maybe start the local scene up again.

We have a second here already... so they are the only 2 showing interest in the last 5 days and have support for the job. Guess we have found the 2 guys.

So far Ive only had 2 suggestions of people who would be prepared to take on the roll.

Crispy and BZGBling,

Unless there are any other suggestions/nominations, I will approach those people and confirm they are interested.

Ive had no Pms about this, its all been on the board.

Im away for a week from Mon, so would like to get this all sorted before the weekend.
