Yes a very very under developed car. (second event for me) and the results were fun, counting a close(ish) encounter with the tyre wall. When the rain soaked the track i had a few moments but that's all the part of competing. And learning to develop/improve your suspesnion.
Big thanks and thumbs up to the starter marshall for the day who braved the conditions out there waving people off , hope ya didn't get a cold after all you endured

When it goes round corners the right way (when the back doesn't want to swap ends with the front), the back ends too high and just floats on the track. lower in the rear and stiffer front, sort out my flat spot when accelerating , should see a couple of seconds drop in lap times. hopefully.

The weather was AWESOME!! Was cool te get a full dry track and a full wet track, makes for a cool event. I will have to post up some of my InCar vid on youtube or something.

Bring on the next event. Good to meet the few who came out.

SCCC are holding a sprint event on the 2nd at Levels.
CCC are holding a ( someone please confirm) event on the 3rd.

as there are a few CCC members posting on here, can someone provide details as to the type/style of event is on the 3rd Dec. i have full intention of prepping the Levin for Levels (if there are spare places) or Ruapuna (if not an actual raceday, only have rally licence), and would be keen as for another blat, especially with over (not under) steer.

I can confirm that the CCC sprint is Dec 3. Dec 2 is RATEC's Hawkswood Rd sprint, and SCCC sprint at Levels. It's a very busy motorsport weekend :D

Waimate 50, a world famous street race that unfortunately hasn't run since the ill-fated Queenstown street race. unfortuneately, won't run again this year either.

This is a good opportunity for anyone wanting to know how one of these events runs and to ask questions about starting to race in events, i know a few of you here are up-and-comers so don't be shy

Lol Logan, we should tell them at the next meeting that people do like Saturdays... :)

I'm holding out for January's Event, although I'm sure I"ll have fun in the pacecar I get to drive (as long as its not in pieces at the time) 8)
If I say I don't need anyone
I can say these things to you
'Cause I can turn on any one
Just like I turned on you
I've got a tongue like a razor
A sweet switchblade knife
And I can do you favors
But then you'll do whatever I like
