Gauges

Hey all
A mate of mine got some of those autogauge smoke series gauges.
He also bought some autogauge cups aswell.
Now the vacuum gauge he got is easy to mount, as you just use the brackets that came with the cup.
But the water temp and oil press gauges are too long to be mounted in the cup using the bracket provided with the cup.

How do people hold these gauges in the cup?

Also the water temp comes with a sender (as they are all electrical gauges), is there something that you can put in the factory hole for the temp sender and run both the factory gauge and the other gauge of it?

My electrical guages are perfect, but they use a control unit i guess this isnt the case? cant you fold the access wire up in the engine bay tidly with cable ties?

So do you have have the smoke series autogauges jobbies or real defi ones?
I know the defi gauges need a control unit. But these ones have individual senders.

Oh ok, wasnt aware they had seperate lines like that ( duh ) yeah ive got Authentic Defi, BF control unit II sorry i cant be much help tho.
