Modifying ae86 diff

is there anyway i could put the crown wheel of a townace or hilux into a ae86 diff.
problem is that i got a 4agte in a ke70 and i been through two diffs already, its becoming expensive!!

Dont bother with the ae86 diff, go for a hilux diff...

Yep go hilux.

BTW 2 diffs is nothing, try 8 heads, 2 axles and a driveshaft in 8000km of street driving.

Whots involved with converting a hilux diff to discs? whats bout the mounts and overall width?
Any particular year?
I'm fully keen on doing one just don know where to start.

what the hell did you do to a driveshaft???

is your ke70 coil or leaf sprung in the back? either way, you'll just need to modify the mounts to suit your ke70 setup, get your driveshaft done to suit then setup the brake lines/hand brake cables.

they don't necesarrily need shortening, there are hilux diffs around that you can run fwd offset mags on fine.

i got springs at the back, so if i stripped down both diffs and put all the mounts over i shoud be sweet?
