just had a better look at changed some lines over, i have a line that goes from fuel pres reg to boost gauge to intake manifold, the abv doesnt have anything connected to it and hasnt nothing to block it up. theyrs two outlets at back off throttle body up high that are joint together with some hose then down lower theres a hose blanked off which i think goes to the abv, i put a splitter in and ran a hose to abv but after doing this the boost wouldnt go over 5psi, so i changed bak and it ran up to 7.5 again i cant figure this out

All the "abv mod" does is stops the bypass valve from acting like a blow off valve, it disables the ecu's control over the abv. Alll you need to do is run a vacuum hose from the abv to the intake manifold, and put a cap on the line that ran from the vsv to the abv.

It could be a number of things. The abv may be stuffed, it could be leaking causing your problem.

It could be the belt slipping on the supercharger which would cause a drop in boost

I could have a look. I had an AW11 with pulley kit boosting 14psi. I did the ABV mod and then eventually got rid of the ABV completely.

I could show you when I get that AE92 parcel tray I just bought off you on tardme :D

I think you're near by. I'm at the Air Force Base in Whenuapai.
You're in this area aye?

You're taking it to the drags tonight aye? Well if it's on of course, you never know with this weather.

Anyways, if you are there, I'll come and have a look see then. I'll be there with bells on (not literally).

What colour is your car? It's an AE82 FXGT?

Sweet.
The first thing you should change on it, is put the ECU in the passenger compartment, not in the engine bay. From memory that's where it is and isn't really an ideal place for it to be. Electronics like that don't tend to like water and heat etc.

How does it go?
I was thinking about buying it, but funds didn't work out in time.
