:P

It's always nice to get things running... And I've not even had major builds like you! It'll be good to see it going.

I'll be keen to come along, I'll *hopefully* have my 86 by then, as long as another guy doesn't take it tonight.

But if he does, I should be able to find some thing else by then. :)

Damn, another guy bought it. Any one know of any 85/6's for sale? I'm really keen for another one, have a bit of cash to spend, and condition doesn't matter. Just need a project.

Cheers :)

Neah, i reckon that matt black notch would make a good project. I got the guy to send me some pics, apparently the only rust is in the boot.

The other stuff it needs is listed in the auction.

I have seen the car and its not only in the boot. I alot work would be needed to get it up to scratch. Unless you have the time, patience, and the tools. You are better to buy one already "done up" which will most likely need a few things done to it anyway.

Did you end up selling your AE85?

@ Rick: Na i didn't. I decided that after all the time and money i've already sunk in it i'd just keep it and spend some more repairing the rust i just found in the chassis. Thats unless something truely special comes up, i'd pay good money for a truely standard hachi :(

When I was working at your new administration block/hall I saw a AE85 red/black trueno parked out side the school a few times and thought it might be yours?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... key=282110 that one there look's ok, but it's a bit far away to just pop round and have a look. I might see if I can get him to put a wof on it and then maybe fly down after finding some more information out about it. :|
