No i can't really, because the car was only brought 24 hours before. So we don't really know it yet.

I put my new sony headunit and some pioneer speakers into it the morning it was stolen.

Its a nardi steering wheel, and a stupid blue repco shift knob.

All the inserts have been painted silver inside.

outside, its got a big bore muffler (no idea what it is sorry), it had a gfb atomic boost tap and a gfb bov.

Other than that, its just a plain looking wrx, no stickers on the back, with missing centre caps on the mags and holes were the spotlights should be. I can't even describe the mages really.

And you guys that are making fun of a std wrx? Umm, are you being sarcasist? I drove for 11 hours around town yesterday, and not once did I see a white std looking wrx with a std wing. In fact, i don't even remember seeing a stnd 95ish wrx WITH A WING. At least here in palmerston north.

Thanks anyway,

Should've spent that time putting in a car alarm.

If you drive a car that shouts "STEAL ME", then park it in a dumb place unprotected you are just helping the crims.

Interesting, thats a 2nd time you've commented about lack of alarms...why do you assume they dont have them? Plenty of thieves are well aware of how to bypass alarms.

And you, get fcuked. Dumb place? 10m from the sliding doors in ucol? the main park between king and queen street? like in the middle of town in the middle of the day. You sir are a fcuking wanker. With a alarm, abit a cheap one...I ordered a alarm the day I got the car, because I saw it was cheap. I had the stereo and speakers sitting here, hence why I put them in.

I got into my car the day i had the alarm "Professionally" installed. It went off for about 10 seconds and i hadnt seen it before. Its not exactly hard if you know how an alarm works. Alarms are deterrents, they wont stop someone stealing a car. Although i found that steering locks are an amazing way to stop a car being taken (Wont stop them stripping it but meh)

 In a busy area as he said, any half decent alarm (I'm talking about the install, not so much the choice of alarm) is not going to be able to be disabled quick. Sure, you can cut the siren, but if done properly it is not a 30 second job to disable all the immobilisers (plural).

Charmed, I'm sure.

I was referring to this quote:

B1NZ wrote: I remember that car park being quite a target for car thefts when i was there

When I first got my GT-Four I had a two week course at MIT. Did I take it there before I installed the alarm? Hell No! School carparks are always a prime target, impossible to avoid of course but risky.

If we (the collective we) don't take precautions then these thefts will keep happening. Most of them are opportunist, your car was a sweet target. I guess you have learnt not to leave a cell phone and laptop in an unprotected car, but I won't mention that either...

Your loss is unfortunate, I recently got burgled by a fcuking teenager climbing through a window while we slept. We have learnt from it and taken extra precautions.

Honestly good luck in finding it. I would be happy to hold him down while you cut his hand off!

How many people on this forum hear an alarm go off but ignore it........ there are far too many alarms out there that are set so sensitive that if you sneeze on the bloody car it will go off :!:

Alarms are not a fail safe, they are mearly a deterant as many other members have said. Why shouldnt we be able to go to uni or the movies or shopping in our "flash" cars and not worry they wont be there when we get back :!:

Unfortunately because we have a soft cock police force this is going to continue no matter what precautions you as an owner take. Best advise is, install an alarm and insure the fcuk out of your car so if it gets stolen all is not lost. And if you cant get insurance for the vehicle, perhaps its wise to get a daily shitter and only bring your flash car out when you have no reason to park it and leave it.
