im going to start looking for a lsd box and shafts
i looked at your cardomain link, howd u run a pulley that big i thought theyr was only enuf room for 14psi pulley cause the waterpump got in the way or something

It just cleared the waterpump pulley, and the boost guage showed it at 15psi, and would occasionally spike to 17psi and cut out.

Hey Matt.
Good to see you there the other night.

The 60ft times are definitely the thing slowing you down at the moment.

Every .1 of a sec you cut off the 60ft time SHOULD double at the end of the run, e.g. shave off a tenth will get you 2 tenths off your ET.

Go for the LSD and try to get some better tyres for the strip. Either go hard out and get some DOT rated drag slicks, or go for some used circuit racing tyres if you can find some. They're good as, I used them on my car when I took it to the drags. Let the pressures down too, it'll also help with the launch.

The trap speed is generally an indication of how much power you have (not if you're going to wheel spin half the way though). Did you notice an improvement when you took the front bumper off? It should have helped out a bit to cool ya intercooler and thus give you a bit more indicated boost and power.

Your reaction time will come into it if you wanted to get into DYO racing. It doesn't affect your ET, but can determine if you win or not.
In an extreme case: Two cars of identical ETs with one having a reaction of .2 sec and the other having a poo reaction of say 2.2 seconds, the first guy would cross the line 2 seconds earlier an take the win.

I can't wait to get back and have another go at the drags.

lol yeh jus happend to be walking while i was waiting in the line

o ok defiantly have to get lsd, i dont think ill go to drag slicks yet but im going to look at some semi slick tyres my dads friend owns a tyre shop.
yeh i let the pressure down to about 20psi

my highest was 144.93 wat does that say? yeh with bumper on it got max 7.5psi, then after takin it off it ran 8 then down there with the cool air it ran 9 - 9.5psi

yeh in the 2nd roudn of dyo when i was up against 12 sec v8 turbo commodore if i had done good reaction time i would have won.

yeh some mates are hiring it out mid jan, so gona try get the day off work and head down hopefully with lsd and 14psi pulley :D
