Corolla drum 2 disk upgrade, ke70

Postby samham » Thu Dec 21, 2006 4:55 pm

Hey, Im looking at upgrading my race car from drums to discs. I have a ke25 with ke70 rear end.

I would like to keep this rear end, as I have a lsd that fits, and just add on discs if possible?

Unless anyone knows of complete rear end with same diff!

I would prefer to have a cable handbrake also.

Does anyone know of some suitable discs and callipers that are 4 X 114?

making of caliper mounts is not problem.

cheers samham

i used AE82 calipers on my TA45 Celica rear end as the celica ones were seized, and weren't worth the money to get re-kitted.

Subaru leone, nissan primera and E53 galant are all handbrake calipers that i have if you want some measurements for offset. there are many options for the disc, depending on the caliper, mtsi, honda etc spring to mind for options.

Actually E53A Galants have drum brakes on the rear.. E33A and E35A have cable handbrake calipers.

*EDIT* Oh I also have a set of rear 265mm rotors and calipers off an E33A galant if anyone wants them.
