then i found after about 5-6 laps my tyres started turning to jelly , it felt like they were rolling over the sidewall on corner exit, understeer was magnified 10x and under brakes the tyres felt like they would give out before the brakes would.
oh when i wasnt careful enough to not overheat them my street tyres also melted and peeled off in chunks one guess which tyre they were.

Whats your suspension like? May have been a good thing you didnt have slicks on, you could have found yourself rolling you car on those understeer corners.

not too bad, adjustable on the rear i kept stiff as i couldnt be bothered changing from drag setup.stiff enough all round to twitch out under hard brakes and be mildly uncomfortable on the street.
some amount of understeer is inevitable in a highpowered frontwheel drive, especially with a mechanical lsd. i had an experienced driver in the passenger seat encouraging quite agressive lines so the poor car ended up hauling up from 160-180km 3 times per lap.

and yep i don t really pay too much attention to tyre pressures, as iv been using street tyres and been focussing on having a good blat rather than chasing every second it makes it more fun when the car gets a bit loose anyway, as long as its controllable.
will keep it in mind when i set out next time tho

On street tyres you'll wanna run around 40psi on a circuit, and not run for too many laps at a time. If your pressures are too low they'll just roll and you'll sledge, been there done that not fun. They over heat too quickly and become usless.
If you wana do any circuit work, r rated tyres are what you want.
