Hi guys,

I've posted in the Cars section, but I guess I'm trying to cover all of my bases here.. I'm after a car, manual or auto, sub $1000, as a daily driver for a while. High kms ok, must be wof'd or wof'able, would like late 80s Corolla or Corona, but will consider anything, cash buyer.

I'm also selling my dirtbike, if you interested in that sort of thing, I'd consider a swap for a car, worth $1600 - $1800.

You missed out on a sweet ride RS13

The theives had kindly left all the wheel nuts and 1/4 tank of gas so on with my wheels and after a few turns she coughed into life. Ran alright but engine was having to work overtime with my smaller tires. Got it home, cleaned out all the glass and checked the essential crap. Took the dizzy off, cleaned the contacts and went nuts with can of CRC, started first pop and rev'd smoothly. Time to hit the river!

With the small tires it's like a low ratio diff, a true rally spec jdm wagon. Met up with a couple of mates on dirt bikes and tried its off-road power. When their arses are off the seat you know its going to get rough but we bashed a way through. Was going mint till I crossed a section of river that was just a bit wet. Got a big run up and made it across alright but car died, turned over ok so off with filter which was swimming like the car seconds before. Dried out the filter box with a carpet floor mat and let the engine heat do the rest to the filter and carb. Tried starting it for ages, the battery just didn't wanna die!

Got my bro to come down and give me a tow coz it still didn't wanna run very well but on the way home it started behaving so off with the rope and drove it home to park up for another day.

i'm proudly wearing my nismo shirt today :lol:

Hahaha we had some good times in the bird wag at the waimak, its noisy diff makes it sound like WRC.. :lol:

RS, this guy from my work is selling a commonwhore wagon, with nissan RB30 power! i think he wants $1000, its auto, has like 250kms or something. let me know if u want me to get his contact details

Hahahah, awesome! Thanks Blackie, but I may have found something already, I'm just waiting for it to pass its' wof..! But if it doesn't, you'll be getting a PM, I wouldn't mind a dirty RB again! lol.

A rusty old GSR3 Starion! Has been sitting for a while, runs a little rough, but hopefully it gets a wof so I can stop half-heartedly tyre-blacking my dirtbike..
