I thought and wished that i would never have to write one of these posts but unfortunately i do.

My GF Lisa's car was broken into what we think was last night. Have no idea as we only just got back from weekend away and work today.

Only thing that we know of thats gone and worth a bit was the head unit;
- Sony Head Unit, Model CDXGT150



Thanks to an immobiliser we still have the car - only just tho.
The ignition has been taken apart as a result of this it looks like. Barrel is mangled along with the wires hanging out. would have liked to have laughed at the $&#$% when it couldn't be started.

As per normal, police aren't showing up - maybe if i knew and shot the c**t then it might be a different story..... Even tho there is a tonne of evidence! screw driver left in the car, finger prints all over it and all that...

bugger, any broken windows? they are the spendy parts. ignition barrel and switch isnt normally too bad to pick up cheap from a wreckers or trademe or watever.

Yeah rear quarter window was smashed. looks like they have levered something in the sill of the glass and its smashed.

Not worrying about getting things ourselves... looking at making a claim.

Another good way is to say that if they arent there in 3 mins, to send an ambulance, as the offender will need it!!

Oizo what was stopping you taking all that evidence into the station for them to look at? Achieves the same as them coming, which they won't (unless offence in progress) because theft-ex-car is a "volume crime".

My g'fs car has also been broken into.. 2 times!!. nothing stolen but a broken quater window to fix both times. i just dont bother going to the police as they dont do sqwat. Also had some a**hole spray paint (tag) my car the other week. luckly came off with some cut pollish. man id love to catch one other these people that do this stuff!! no respect for anyones property..
