Strange clutch issues

Postby Coke » Thu Jan 25, 2007 9:20 pm

Ok before I get take my car apart to get to the clutch, prolly should make sure its the clutch that stuffed.

Clutch pedal feels normal, however the revs hardly change when letting it out and when you let it out completely while still in gear the car doesnt shut off. I am a newb but ive never heard of this happening.

So pretty much the clutch does nothing and the car wont drive

Any ideas? completely worn clutch?

Probably stripped the clutch linings off one side of the clutch plate, or its just completely worn down to the rivets. Either way, if you have pedal feel and the slave cylinder is moving (which is should if you have clutch pedal feeling still) then its time for new clutch
