When is the next club race day at levels?

Postby Dunny » Tue Jan 30, 2007 12:12 pm

Can someone confirm when the next club race day is on at Levels?

I thought it was 24 March but upon checking MSNZ website it says that event is a bent sprint :?

Thanks

Thats the type of permit applied for,

which determines what events you can run on the day,

but by fangsports response i'd say that that are still deciding on what to do on the day.

suggest away........

Just after a South Canterbury Car Club race day - i.e. class racing using the long track

Do you guys not have a club race program over the summer? As in CCC has 5 club race meets with class racing brackets etc

we do have a few clubrace events. only hold a national rally licence, so they don't really concern me.
Matt Dunn does most of the clubdays, get in touch with him as to how they fare in terms of excitement . i'm kept busy enough with clubsport/rally and general life without the hassle of other events.

SCCC Website calendar page.

http://www.southcanterburycarclub.org.n ... lendar.htm

There are not a lot of Actual Clubdays like CHCH have,
as we are very limited by the resource consent for track use.

The only actual Club Race Days as such are,

8 July 2007 Preist Printers Clubday
19 August 2007 Club Captains Race day
18 November 2007 SCCC vs OSCC Club Day

Yes, only 3 per year as that all the resource consent allows space for.

You know that these are not Road car suitable day.
You need a National Race Licence, (not available on the day)
You must have Fireproof overall, Normal cotton as per clubsport are not good enough,
and a few etxra thing's.

If you have done these events before you will know all this.

(more than clubsport level anyway)
