gt radials lasted me 60000. still got 5mm tread on 2 and 3 mm on other 2

I've done about 25,000km on my gt radials and they still look new lol.

My dad has light commercial 8 ply rated tyres on his van - the front ones have 8mm left on the tread (which is what they had when we got them) for well over 50,000km.

Light commercials could be the way to go. If you can get them in a 17 inch tyre though could be a different matter.
