Have been in Rick Kellys current porsche cup GT3 on a few hot laps at ruapuna. Little slower in a straight line than the v8's but it wasn't the speed that impressed me, was how well it stopped and cornered. Going sideways at 150 into the hairpin after the straight was impressive. The adrenaline hit was pretty good as I was feeling kinda depressed the next day

Well thats true, but we will have to find out some day, but so far we toped out 4th on the road and that was 240kms and got there fast.barryogen wrote:audi man wrote:I just found out my will do 290kms, this was done on a dyno in 5th gear at 9000rpm need a lower diff to get past the 300kms, but the thing is would i do this on the road, well lets see.
heh... thats with no wind/road resistance... most cars will also pull away in 4th gear quite happily on a dyno, doesn't mean that it'll work like that on the road.
